Saint Michael, Chandler Lightning, 34; Community Mourns Loss, Funeral Arrangements

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor Chandler Lightning of Saint Michael, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 34. Though their time was far too short, the impact they had on those around them will be felt for years to come.

Chandler was deeply valued by family and friends—a person whose presence brought warmth, connection, and meaning. They carried a quiet strength and a light that touched others in lasting ways. That light now lives on in the memories and love shared by all who knew them.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Evans Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for May 4th, followed by a prayer service that evening. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Chandler’s life will take place on May 5th, providing an opportunity for loved ones to gather, reflect, and say their goodbyes.
